Key Art
All of the entertainment marketing campaigns shown below were created completely by me from concept to execution. I create the key art concept internally, work in collaboration with our animation vendors to request character poses and backgrounds needed for execution, and then compose all of the final assets. Assets shown here include fast channel key art posters, album covers, YouTube channel banners, and thumbnails. Key art was scaled for other needs as well such as CTAs, web, IMDB, etc.
Chelsea Special
The plot of this special is that Chelsea decides her birthday talent show performance isn't good enough after seeing a new student's act, causing her to wish for a "do-over" that traps her in a time loop. A repeated scene in this special is Chelsea blowing out and making a wish on a cake that Barbie is holding. This is what initiates the birthday do-over. I wanted to recreate this moment in the key art, and use fx to create a glitter spiral around the sisters. This both illustrates the magic that comes from Chelsea's wish, and is a nod to the concept of a time loop. For this special, I created templates for the repurposed content we made from this special to clearly identify what piece of content the video came from.

Doll Adventures Special
Doll Adventures Lost in Doll World follows a lonely Chelsea who feels ignored when the other Barbies aren't paying complete attention to her. This leads her to get whisked away in a magical dream camper to a place called Laugh Laugh Land. There she learns to appreciate her friends and family as she works to find her way back home. Meanwhile, back home the Barbies look for Chelsea. These two plot lines happen simultaneously throughout the special, therefore I knew the poster needed to show Chelsea in a distinct world from the Barbies. Thus I created a time portal effect are Chelsea so she seems trapped in laugh laugh land, and gave the barbies props to make it clear they are looking for her in Doll World.

Camp Crush Season 5
This is the key art for the 5th season of Camp Crush, which is a Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Series. The Season follows all of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks through various adventures.

Monster High Drac's Scary Sweet Birthday
This show follows Draculaura preparing for her sweet 1600th birthday when she learns she has won the Monster of the Year award. Feeling undeserving of the award due to her inability to do telekinesis she stresses about her shortcomings while the other ghouls plan her a surprise birthday party. This show launched in tandem with the Sweet 1600th birthday doll line, therefore the key art needed to both promote the show and the doll line. Thus the key art needed to clearly show the characters in a way that flattered their designs, so the key art was ultimately a hybrid of entertainment and toy marketing.
